UK was a great team this year, but they were all FR and SO except for WCS. Aside from the fact that they played a relatively weak SEC schedule, I think there is something to be lost in not having senior leadership, and upperclassmen contributing throughout the rotation.

They aren't a fraud though. That's ridiculous. It's really tough to say that a FF team is a fraud, let alone a team that was ranked #1 from Nov to April. You can make the argument that a cinderella team could make the FF because they were overlooked but even they still have to actually win the games. But this was UK and they've had one of the biggest targets on their backs since day one. That's also a lot of pressure when you don't have a bunch of upperclassmen and seniors to hold everything together.

Kentucky played a mid-major season in a shoddy conference only having 3 close games against shoddy teams and then a 4th against Notre Dame in the Elite 8. Do you give this same treatment to Wichita St. or Gonzaga when they graze perfection? no. This Kentucky squad never belonged beside IU's 76' squad and any basketball fan knows that. You are just jumping on a bandwagon that is only for fools if you think otherwise.

This is silly. Are you going to blame Kentucky for winning all of their games? The conference was weak but undefeated is still very impressive. And 3 losses out of the Big 10 is impressive as well. Anybody that watched Wisconsin play could see that they were a top notch team with one bad ***** in Kaminsky in the middle.

they are still one of the best teams of all time... The proof is that they have SO many future NBA players, and 4 top 20 in the NBA draft... SO clearly they had the players... Maybe their problem was the coaching!!!
