Most inmates are in as low level crime offenders, we would ordinarily extinguish lives for this? The "war" on drugs has been a abject failure, and a destructive force against families, is this really the price we want to pay to employ others?

I remember some time ago, when you and @Sharkinva debated the merits on whether or not you would change anything in the history of this country that lead to the way the country is now. You both agreed that you wouldn't and in that moment lost me. I see no difference in saying that an supporting a system that destroys human capital.

What makes his agenda racist? You think everything that affects one race more than another is racist. You fail to see it affects one race more, or in this case an ethnicity, because that race is in violation far more often.

As for South Africa, God forbid, a large number of white people get murdered brutally , and people believe there’s is a racist element to it. God forbid, land seizure is occurring based on race and now without compensation. God forbid, you look at what happened to Zimbabwe and come to the conclusion it could happen in S. Africa.

I can't imagine how you've arrived at this conclusion. So to be clear, I believe that women know women, they know how they reason and how other idiosyncrasies come into play as women. Some, for example, might have reasoned that mood swings might cause problems, others their own cattiness inferred as being the same in other women. Now to be clear, NONE of this might not, in any way, been true of Mrs. Clinton, but we cannot discount the possibility that some of these women voters believed it to be a disqualifying factor.

Might that be that because unless you are a fan of walls, destroying the environment for a better 401K outlook, and intentionally trying to divide the country while setting up another nativist movement.... Trump might not been seen as all that positive.

Look I have said many times, we have seen this Trump playbook before in this country. And the reality is, we will probably see it again once Trump is out of office when ever that is. Let me make this point one more time.

The news = Who, what, when, where, and how. Sometimes we get a follow-up detailing the same.

News programing = talking heads offering opinions about the news ( Also dominated by right wingers/Republicans)

TWO VASTLY DIFFERENT THINGS! C'mon Dad, you know this!!

Now maybe there aren't as many positive stories about Trump because they truly don't exist! Imagine that! The ONLY reason why people like him at all is because they are getting in exchange.

1.Court appointments

2. Destruction of the last attempt at providing health care since, F. Roosevelt.

3.Attempting to stir up that part of a Caucasian populace who's deathly afraid of 2044, the year in which they become the minority in this country.

4. Overturning, unions

5. Reinforcing the criminalization of weed despite evidence that suggests that the general population overwhelmingly approves of it's use.

6. Is indeed a wretched human being (and I personally question his humanity)

7. Greed over country

8. Acceptance of applying law without justice.

Trump took over an economy that was stagnant. Obama's people said we would never see days of 2% growth again. Well...oops.

Show me one thing that Trump has done to alter the trend line of the Obama's economy. Certainly not the tax cut, and damned sure not the tariffs. What's he done other than not be Brown? Confidence being subjective, that and greed are the only reasons why, there seems to be more energy in the economic engine.

If you've read or have been informed by your tax preparers, you will know that next year, those benefits some are raving about (on average about $100) go away. The cuts for people like myself become permanent and the trickle down economy begins. The only problem is, trickle down doesn't work, never has and never will. Want to know why? Well, people with real money tend to keep it.

If you really want to get a "real time" measure of how well this economy is doing stay focused on wages!
