Unfortunately, Toronto ia playing gutter teams @ their home. Boston today and Baltimore to the end. Pretty hard to mak any upward movement but at least we are closing out the season with Detroit.

On the bright side (lol) we have Blowers and Sims calling the game today instead of have Aaron screaming his brains out. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to have Blow and Sims through the Detroit series too.

I am still shell shocked that the Mariners have actually officially made post season play this year. Like many of you, it has been so long, damned hard AND frustrating watching this team, year after year after year coming to an end at the regular season. I'm so psyched, (and proud) about the M's post season play this year. I've been waiting for this over 20 f'n years. I just hope I'm not dreaming this shit up. GO MARINERS - AND THIS TIME I REALLY MEAN IT

If I am skip I go Castillo game 1 and Gilbert Game 2

Gilbert has been dominant all season and especially the past half a dozen starts.

Depending on more TOR wins and another potential loss, skip Gilberts and Castillo starts these next 4 games to ensure they are well rested for TOR matchups for the weekend.

Ray can toss game 3 on a real short leash and have: Brash - Kirby or I hate to even say it *cringe Gonzalez come out of the pen if Robbie starts serving up platters of cookies again.

And Servais better suddenly figure out how to manage a game you need to win and have a quick hook on any of them that struggle early. He can't wait until they've given up 5 to do something. He's going to have Kirby in the pen. If any starter gives up more than one run early he has to make that switch. I mean he won't, but he has to.

Do we think he's going to actually do situational pitching? Put a guy in to face just one batter and change right after for a better match up? He seems to firmly believe that all of his pen can go left and right to all batters.

They have lost too many games to that.
