But is Jerry going to leave off his big off-season acquisition? The M’s are in a terrible spot with Jared’s mental state. Can they really leave him off the roster and not completely implode him mentally after he has won them at least two games down the stretch. Plus it is pretty obvious Jerry’s camp and Jared’s camp hate each other like we’ve haven’t seen in Seattle since Payton vs Shultz.
If you are a real professional organization, the GM's job is done until the offseason. Let the manager managed and build his roster his way for the playoffs. We both know that won't happen, but that is what should happen.
But it is an either or. The only way you can keep both is if Julio or Haniger can’t play in the Wild Card round or for some weird reason Jerry keeps Santana off the roster.
Well that is an option I guess, I guess we will have to see the playoff roster. To me it is between Winker and Kelenic but I guess you could keep them both and leave off Fraizer but damn that is putting a lot pressure on Moore and you have to keep Toro right? I don’t know the rules for roster size or really the rules because we haven’t needed to know nor do I do research so it seems you want a backup IF unless Haggerty is going to play everyday.
It is a thought which I 100% get and makes sense But structure wise, then having Kelenic and Winker allows Haniger to DH, but then it makes Santana useless and seems to make Frazier more valuable of spot than Santana and he seems to have been a silent leader. I guess just to me it is should be (but I’m not Jerry or Scott) between Winker, Kelenic or Santana. Unless Jerry pulls a rabbit out of his weird mind and put Kyle Lewis or Evan White on the playoff roster cause both have proven in AAA they are worth a shot over a Toro.
