They dont have to win out...

A total number of 6 is needed. Meaning 6 wins by TEX... 6 losses by LAA...a mix of the 2... etc etc etc.

well they failed in the 9th but then against a 5-man infield and runners at 1st and 3rd and 1 out, Toronto wins it on a fielder's choice grounder to the 5th infielder and a bad throw to home.

and we're at 5 in both the lead in the West and our magic number over the Angels.
