That's cool. I never liked Brandon Knight anyways. Good to see Joe D doing something, anything. I'm still bummed they passed on Trey Burke.
Its not like we're going to run the offense through Drummond or anything but he is good enough to be a starting center NBA and has a high ceiling. He plays good D, rebounds well, gets steals, block shots and finishes well at the rim. His per36 stats are pretty good. His FT% is the thing that is really holding him back.Drummond is not that good. 8 or 9 ppg?
Trey may or may not work out. The Pistons are 2 pieces away from being a contender for the conference.

Then Jennings can talk about how the Stones are going to beat the Heat in 6.Monroe is a beast. Smith abd Jennings are overrated. They are now a better teambut still not great. I could see them maybe slipping into the 8th if that.

Yeah but those 17 PPG came at less than 40% FG.I agree. His 17 PPG is worth the money. Detroit has recently acquired 2 guys who can score.
Local radio talks like Drummond is a future star. Just passing that along. I don't really have an opinion on him yet.

Yea if those 2 pieces are LeBron James and Kevin Durant
He will share time with Monroe at the 5. Monroe/Smith/Drummond will not share the court for long even through they will probably start, so Monroe will see a lot of time at the 5. The center we sign for depth for will probably never touch the court unless there is an injury. The center we just traded only played in blowouts or when Drummond was injured.Yeah, but he needs a solid back up, really. Right now the Pistons don't have one.
If Smith is starting at the 3 then the team will have no spacing whatsoever. Expect Smith to jack up threes because he makes 1 out of 5. Actually that won't happen because the ball won't be leaving Jenning's hands. This team needs to just move out of the bankrupt hell that is Detroit.

So how do you see this team stacking up against the rest of the conference?
The team isn't in the city of Detroit. The team is in Auburn Hills about half an hour outside of Detroit. Auburn Hills is actually doing pretty well and is not bankrupt. If Smith is starting at the 3 then the team will have no spacing whatsoever. Expect Smith to jack up threes because he makes 1 out of 5.
