Detroit Pistons land Brandon Jennings in sign-and-trade

The Milwaukee Bucks agreed to send point guard Brandon Jennings to the Detroit Pistons in a sign-and-trade deal that will land them third-year point guard Brandon Knight, forward Khris Middleton and center Viacheslav Kravstov, a person with knowledge of the deal confirmed.


This gives the Pistons a piece to work with along with recently acquired Josh Smith. Detroit remains weak at SG and C, though. Will there be more deals for more players like this? I have to at least compliment the Pistons for being proactive. They've acquired 2 big pieces in the past 2 weeks. Big moves.

Yep, most bucks fans were horrified of resigning jennings for some 10 mil a year deal. A small quick guard that shoots 40% and can't make layups or finish around the rim is hardly worth a damn in the nba. Plays bad defense too. gets steals, but is way too small. have fun watching him shoot detroit out of games. He'll play 1 game where he shoots 60%, then have 3 where he shoots 30

I agree. His 17 PPG is worth the money. Detroit has recently acquired 2 guys who can score.

Monroe is a beast. Smith abd Jennings are overrated. They are now a better teambut still not great. I could see them maybe slipping into the 8th if that.

That's cool. I never liked Brandon Knight anyways. Good to see Joe D doing something, anything. I'm still bummed they passed on Trey Burke.
