Thought I would start this early since we didnt have one for the Reds, was going to start one after the 1st game but figured it was late, so I didnt.

Glad we got the last one against the Reds, if we played better defense we could have won 2 easy.

After this series, we are done with the NL east, cept the 6 games vs the Marlins.

I'd be happy with a split here. This is a tough stretch of schedule leading up to the trade deadline, and I think the Pirates would be in good shape to come out of it even. I hope Pedro can get it back on track against the Nats. He looked pretty bad at the plate in Cincy.

Haren has been extremely homer prone this year. I wouldn't be suprised to see Pedro get back on track tonight. I would be fine with a split but I believe we can take 3 of 4 from them. Win the first two and take one of the final 2. Nats offense has been pretty bad so far.

Just think that deal generated 3 players on the current roster if you count Sanchez received in the Gorkys trade.

Not exactly relevant to this particular game, but I'm interested to see what everyone thinks will be done to the rotation when Wandy and JMac return. Obviously you'd assume AJ, Locke, and Liriano will still be there but what do you do with the final two spots?
