I think that's a good move. It's a way to control his innings without taking him out of the rotation, and it gets our two best pitchers going in a very important series, especially after having been swept in Colorado.

I thought Matt Adams had the game tying RBI right there and then when the camera panned out, it showed your 2nd baseman shifted halfway into right field. Pirates look legit this year.

Thats literally the first one of 'these type of games' that the Cardinals won all year. First win all year after trailing going into the 9th.

Totally unrelated but man, AL coaches have it easy. Running out of roster players makes things a bit difficult in extra inning games.

I don't think it will be. With Guys like Martin and Burnett in the fold, I'm sure those two will keep everyone focused on the prize. Just another road loss. Put it in the L column and move on.

Really hoping Liriano puts the clamps down on the tweety birds tonight and we take the next two.
