I think on the $0 dollar group, I might go Marino, Faulk, pre-concussion AB and if I can take a current T.E., Kelce. If not, Ditka isn't a bad choice although I might go with Jason Whitten

my zero dollar guy is definitely Marino
But zero dollar RB is also definitely Eric Dickerson.
Everyone knew he was getting the ball. Every one stacked the box & he still made them pay.

Amazingly that Cowboy playoff game is still a record from the 1985 season.

34 carries 248 yards and 2 TDs, averaged 7.3 yards per carry

Pony Express lit Dallas up a few years earlier and Dickerson was a great RB.
That game and Earl Campbell Thanksgiving at Texas Stadium were two times I handled a Dallas loss well.

Earl trucked the living dog doo outta Cliff Harris. Flat out amazing!

Brady, Peterson, Largent, Gronk.

Assuming all in their prime. Largent was one of the best route runners of all time that snatched up most balls thrown in his direction (even contested or off target) which Brady 100% relied on, Gronk with Brady was absolutely insane... and then add Peterson to the backfield with Captain checkdown and that's GG.

Patriots were also known for emphasizing their OL and quick passing... all of which Peterson/Largent/Gronk would profit off of.

You would have to pay me money to take Elway.

Manning, Payton, Moss, Mackey

Yah I don't get the Elway love (Elway should be swapped for Marino). I get the guy scrambled, had a very strong arm... but those two Super Bowls... like Namath, WAAAAAAAAAY overrated. You lose this game if you pick Elway. I have to almost think it's a trap. Rodgers $1 Elway $2? The fuck?

One of the worst playoff games I can remember Dallas playing. I remember our K got hurt in warm ups. Was it a shut out ?

20-0

$5 Brady
$1 Peterson
$2 Fitzgerald
$4 Gronkowski

Can you imagine Fitzgerald with Brady? We already know that Brady and Gronkowski are pure championship greats. Fitzgerald had one of the great playoff runs for a WR I've ever seen. Nothing else came close until Chase's recent run. You stick that prime Fitzgerald with Brady? That'd be something else. Plus you throw prime Peterson in there who just couldn't be stopped. Teams couldn't focus on just him too because you'd have Brady throwing to Fitz and Gronk. You'd also have Gronk as the great blocker that he is there for Peterson. It would just be too much.

Rodgers ($1), Sanders ($3), Moss($4), Gronk($4)

I really dislike Rodgers, but I don't know how you don't take the most talented QB at the least amount of money.

It comes down to if you believe that Rice is the greatest offensive weapon in history? Better than any WR, TE or RB.

That was confirmed in post 9.

Add the best QB not named Brady along with the best all around RB who happens to be the all time leading rusher and throw in Mackey and it's really game over.

Darn shame so few see it
