This game scares me. This will be a good test to see where our defense really is. This is one of those games I hope we find a way to win.

I think it will be quite a close game and like a large majority of NFL games it will come down to QB play.

Foles needs to step it up, otherwise Luck is going to get enough chances to shred this already weak secondary into a mince meat.

Foles will be fine, Our defense will get the job done. Eagles by 7.

If its a shootout the birds win a close one 34-31 on a late game FG by rookie Parkey, if its a defensive game we get wooped due to the plug and play O-line!

My guess is it will be an ugly game, but the Eagles will win it, unless the Nick Foles from last week shows up (though usually he rebounds quite nicely from a bad game).

Monday Night (or early Tuesday morning) is way too far away....

It's going to be a tough matchup for Philly, which is missing a lot of offensive linemen. I am not confident they will win this one after their shaky start against Jacksonville last week, but they certainly have the potential to win it.

Man I tell ya, football was real boring today without the birds playing. Plus I hate regional coverage. Now the game....a slow start means eagles will get destroy.

Few notes before I give my score.

Colts
1. Have no running game we should be aware or scared of, richardson is a good short yardage back, but nothing special.

I expect he will get a bunch of carries tho becuase indy isnt prepared to stay up tempo, and running the ball is the only way to keep our offense off the field.

T.Y. hilton isnt going to be a big factor, however reggie Wayne will be. Wayne will draw williams, and anyone hes covering has the advantage.

Luck will get hit, and hit often. He flat out stinks when he is getting hit and indys oline doesn't stand a chance.

Defense, indy has decent coverage ability and imo a top ten cb in vontae davis, but they are small up front, and missing the only pass rusher will be huge. Overall I expect luck to struggle the first half, and do well in the second.

Eagles

1. Foles will have an ok game IF he can hit his guys. Indys pass rush is beyond underwhelming so he shouldnt be very panicy like he was last week. But im stil concerned about how inaccurate hes been so far. I expect us to leave at least 14 points on the turf by games end.

Ertz, celek and sproles will have monster games, looking at the jax tape, that mix of size and then the two back sets with sprol3s is a biiiig headache, your damned if you do/dont. Jax has better linebackers and they got caught a few times keeping up with chips change from ertz/mathews to sproles, shady and celek/ertz. Safeties arent fast, strong or big enough, and backers arent fast or athletic enough, and cbs get destroyed in the option read.

Brandon graham, vinny curry and connor barwin are gonna hurt luck. Seriously, luck is gonna get hurt, not rooting for it, but luck does pull the ball diwn and will scramble in the pocket, but thats suicide vs the speed of the eagles back 4 backers.

Overall,

Keys to victory
Colts- Isolate carey williams and force jenkins down into the box, run max protect and control the clock. If they get into a shootout they will get outran by a mile.

Eagles- run double tight formations, alternating with double back sets and force indy to run backers and cbs in and out on every other play, its only a matter of time until someone blows an assignment or gives you great mismatches. Shady must run hard and not dance, the front 7 of Indy is small, but they can run. No side to side, one cut and go.

I see indy comming out fast, throwing, getting into a shootout, and getting luck destroyed.

Foles plays well enough to win, but shady, sproles and ertz gies nuts.

eagles 42- Colts 27. Late colts td makes it seem closer than the final score indicates.
