There are 11 games left in the season. The Eagles must have one of, if not the easiest remaining schedule in the league. I broke it down of the teams that might be in the wildcard hunt. Tell me which two of those teams you are confident will both finish 10-7 or better.
You are always Sooo drunk on Eagles koolaid, there is no point in trying to speak logic. With that I wish you good luck.

Ertz got traded bc he wanted more money NOT because his skills are in decline or they wanted Goedert to be the number one guy.
Good TE’s play well into their 30’s. It’s easy to poo poo it off when your team traded a good one away. It’s Eagle fan Koolaid, nothing more.

Why aren't you able to ask a simple question? If the Eagles finish the season 9-8 they will have the chance to make it in as the 7th seed. Looking around the NFC who are the the 6th and 7th seed wild card teams that you have with a 10-7 record or better? I think the 49ers will end up being the 6th seed at 10-7 but that 7th seed is likely going to a 9-8 team.

No decline in skills? He went from being a highly productive TE to 36 rec, 335 yards & 1 TD in 2020. He's dropped has dropped a lot of passes over the last two years which he rarely ever used to. He should be useful in his role for the Cardinals but he is no longer the TE he was during the stretch from 2014-2019.

Cox has been on the table since they put out the story last spring that they have concerns about him heading into his 30s.
I was surprised when he wasn't traded in March 2021. I assumed the Eagles were still in win-now mode, or at least that's what they were portraying to fans. I have to say trading him before the November 2nd deadline would be a sensible decision and that would definitely mean the Eagles were tanking.

LMFAO

Ok…I’ll play… the eagles are 2-4. The “easier” part of their schedule is ahead of them. They have 11 games left. What’s their record going to be? What’s is this team with TWO wins all year going to end up with? What’s this team who was 4-11-1 last year and has only TWO wins this year going to do in the next 11 games that they haven’t done yet? Are they going to win 10 of the next 11 games to finish 12-5? 9 of the next 11 to finish 11-6? What record do you think they need to make the playoffs?

Hahaha

They’re done. Only a blind eagles fan can’t see it.

Go ahead… enlighten me.
The easier part of the schedule is ahead of them so they could go 7-4 and be 9-8.....that would be right there in the hunt for the WC,

Not saying they will, just sayin' it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Who’s throwing him the ball? Who rise are defenses keying on?

Still wouldn't necessarily be tanking. They are in the midst of the rebuild. That is still ongoing no matter what this season. 3 likely 1st round picks. Loaded draft and a Eagles are loading up on picks for it. Trade Cox would just be a smart move at this point if the cap allows it. Hargrave has far surpassed him as the best player on the Eagles defense.

The really smart move in my opinion would be to trade Hargrave after this season. On pace for a potential All-Pro year, only has one year on his deal and will be 30 heading into free agency after next season likely seeking a monster deal. Doesn't necessarily mesh with the Eagles longer term focused build with the defense likely to be entirely rebuilt through youth in the draft to go along with what has become a very young offense. His contract would be too much of a cap hit to trade him during the season but if they trade after they can save $4M in cap space and if Hargrave keeps this play for the rest of the year he might be able to fetch the Eagles another 1st round pick.

The same guy who has him with better stats right now than Ertz had this season in more games. Only now Goedert will be playing the majority of the snaps instead of having to split snaps and targets with Ertz.

Are you saying that defenses are keying in and watching Ertz on the sideline when Goedert is in the game? Because while they still run a little 12 personnel they no longer run it even close to as much as they did in last few years under Doug Pederson. With Nick Sirianni this season it is usually just one of the TEs out there and the 3 WRs (Smith, Watkins & Reagor) and then one of Sanders or Gainwell.

I’m saying when Ertz is on the field defenses key on him. When he’s not they key on someone else… and it’s not goedert. See, it’s not hard. Feel free to read it over and over till you get it.

Why would defenses key on TEs when you have 5 top ten WRs on the team?

Defense's haven't keyed in on Ertz since early in the 2020 season when it was made clear early on that season that he is no longer the player he used to be. They played the same amount of games last year yet Goedert had 10 more rec, 189 more yards and 2 more TDS. He has played one less game than Ertz this season and the one extra game Ertz played he got the bulk of the snaps for TE which Goedert hasn't had yet this season and still Goedert has better numbers than him this season.

I'm pretty sure you've never really even watched Goedert. He has really good soft hands that allow him to make some really impressive catches but he is also a far stronger and more physical player at TE than Ertz ever was. He's more of a Kelce style TE whereas Ertz was more of a slot WR playing TE. Ertz can still run good routes but his hands haven't been as reliable for a couple years now.

There are currently 8 NFC teams with winning records. The 7th best would only have to go 6-6 to reach 9-8. A 9-8 record would pretty much be the ceiling for the Eagles. To do that they'd have to go 7-4 and there are several games where they will be significant underdogs. They're as likely to go 3-8 as go 7-4. You have the Giants at #31 in your current Power Rankings but the Eagles would still be around +200 to sweep them. A 9-8 record for the Eagles would likely only get them into a tie-breaker situation for the last seed so it might well not be enough. Making the playoffs is a long shot.

Goedert has a soft chin to go along with those soft hands and both were on display in that bar.

But who is the team or teams that you think could finish better than 6-6 the rest of the way out to get that 7th seed?

Goedert unlike Ertz has ability after the catch and often makes plays after the catch whereas that is rare for Ertz to do anything after the catch.

Jimmy G will prevent that from happening.

LA, Arizona, and Seattle will all make the playoffs before SF does.

Right now there are 8 teams with winning records.....that will change.

I guarantee it.
