That's laughable
What about his receiving skills or blocking skills is laughable?
That's laughable
Blocking skills are good and receiving skills are fine when he's not ghosting. He's a top 10 TE but not even close to top 3 to compare him to Gronk. Gronk took over games almost week to week which Dallas has not. Put up Gronk type numbers every week than I'll change my mind. What about his receiving skills or blocking skills is laughable?
So if you ignore the game and focus on the could have he was better? Hell of an argument. He did. He made a highlight catch with one hand that was already shown earlier. He had a catch and run that should have been ruled a TD and would have been ruled a TD if replayed since he was never down and fell on top of the defender before rolling into the endzone but the Eagles just did a QB sneak for the TD the next play instead.
He also had another would be TD catch that was called back for a penalty. He has had several TD catches this season called back on penalties unrelated to him.

He has more than 2 drops is what I'm saying. Plus in this case his horrible comp rate of 62% helps him because they compare drops to targets, while a more accurate way would be to compare the ratio of drops to receptions. You get "credit" for not getting a drop when Hurts sails one 10 yards over your head?2.7

And by the way if he wasn't so small he catches the pass in bounds at the two that he went out of bounds on and also makes that catch in traffic in the end zone.
I'm talking about a specific play. Did you watch the game? What are you talking about? He's made catches in traffic in the endzone.
He is just getting warmed up with a new team. I would say 8 fo 88 and 2 TD’s in on the right path. Earth certainly outplayed DG Sunday. That can’t be argued. How is he more reliable when has a lower catch percentage on targets? (66.7% vs 72.3%)
How is more reliable when he has a higher drop percentage? (6.7% vs 2.1%)
Ertz was extremely reliable at the peak of his prime but that was several years ago now and he just isn't that same player anymore. It happens to all great players (except Brady), they all exit their prime at some point and then while still good just aren't as good as they used to be.
Ertz has played in one more game this season yet he has less yards, less YAC, less broken tackles and less first downs,

At this point, I'm expecting a new thread on how Dallas Goedert will be the best TE in the league in x amount of time. C'mon RTK, you're slipping here pal. Lol.
Well below his career 37yds a game.Does anyone know the stats for Dallas Goedert in today’s game? The ones I’m looking at must be wrong.
