Yea Jvett. Like I stated earlier, when they get their runs average, the Phillies go home. Right now we are averaging 2.4 runs per game or there abouts. Three runs is just too many. Freakin' dumbasses.

Asche screwed up. More experience will do away with those types of mistakes but it just forces Hamels to make extra pitches.

That mistake just cost us a bases loaded and now we face three potential runs-or more.

Another base hit and two runs score. Asche does get the tag out at third. One out and we still have more hitters to come.

I feel bad for you because you're talking to yourself about this game, so I'll join…even though I'm a Brewers' fan

Asche redeemed himself on that fielder's choice out. He has to get that throw to second faster because Utely had no chance on the double play.

Why would you feel bad Dyhard? I do this all the time over hear on the Phillies pages. That is what happens when your offense sucks and your record is 37-51.

here's Gorzelanny. opponent's batting under .180 against him and he's yet to walk a batter this year in 6 1/3 innings.

because you're a Phillies fan and your 37-51 lol if you did that every game, it'd be lonely. at least it'd make me feel like I'm the only one struggling thru their season.

and he singles, happy that Estrada was taken out after he struck out twice

Nice base hit by Asche. We need to keep things going. Oh no, Dom Brown is up.

ah, there we go. had a scare the pitch before. a ball low in the zone would be great right now, force a ground ball and end the inning

Estrada was throwing himself ragged. 100 pitches plus up to the fifth inning. Ouch. Most nights I am by myself. When it really gets bad like the series we just got out of with Pissburgh, I just leave early.

Rupp got a lot of that pitch but just a few feet short.

I never really understood why pitcher's throw over to 1st base so often. sometimes you see a a pitcher throw over repeatedly. when I used to pitch, I never threw over to 1st because every time I did, it'd screw me up in my rhythm with the batter. I really never paid attention to the runner at 1st or 2nd, I only gave them a look every time. I had a lot of base runners steal on me, but I had a awesome catcher who had a rocket for an arm and could always throw a lot of them out. plus, I struck out a ton of batters so never had to worry really about base runners all that much. I just couldn't pitch longer than 3-4 innings without getting tired and velocity starting to drop.

and that's a solid way to end the inning, this time around the Brewers need to make sure they don't have base running errors. that'll destroy a rhythm

that was the story of the Brewers last year. pitchers would throw a stupid amount of pitches and be out by the 5th/6th inning and have the bullpen pitch the rest of the game. it's what killed them down the stretch. can't have that happen this year. but this series, I should be here every game then to keep you company. just out of curiosity, how'd you get such a diverse range of favorite teams?

haven't really paid much attention to the overall MLB this season, just the Brewers (checking scores mid game/checking final results and that's about it) but I've really been impressed with Lucroy this season and I really hope I can see him in the All-Star Game although I probably won't watch it
