Another 1-2-3 inning save for Papelbon and number 22. Onward we go to try for the sweep tomorrow night as we get our 40th win tonight. Great game!!

Buchanan is looking pretty good early on with no score. Buchanan has two Ks.

Phils don't have a hit yet and as our offense goes, this is not a good thing.

That is about the third or fourth time Gomez has swung himself nearly off-balance and losing his helmet.

Apparently Gwynn is in center field today because Revere's ankle is acting up and Gywnn's arm is stronger than Revere's

This is going to come down to who makes the first mistake. The Phillies have gone four innings without a base runner and this is our krappy offensive alter ego that gets us nothing but losing.

Buchanan is pitching pretty well. 54 pitches through 4 innings with one hit. Again, whoever makes the first and subsequent mistakes will win this one.

It took us five inning to get our first base runner. Byrd gets on by walk. We need a run scored right here.

McCarthy and Moyer are discussing who is going to be moved before the trade deadline. Papelbon has made it known he wants to play for a winner so the chances are good if the right deal is presented, Papelbon and possibly Burnett will probably be goneso.

Buchanan is having a Hernandez (last night) game. Hasn't allowed a run through five.

We got the keystone cops going on in the outfield for the Brewers. I thought that was only the property of Gywnn.

Buchanan made the first mistake and Gomez sent it packing. Gomez almost fell over again with that swing. We are down 0-1.

Buchanan has now 5 Ks and redeemed himself a bit from that HR he served up to Gomez.
