And there’s the start of the first win streak of the season. Two great starts from Ranger so far. Great job pen. And JT is star of the game. Love that he made them pay for walking Harp. HR, 3 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Rough day for Schwarbs and Rojas looks completely lost at the plate. Looks like my bust out prediction on Rojas is a bust.

There was a group of Angels fans trying to do that for Anthony Rendon on Friday but it didn't work out because there was another big group of fans that weren't on board so they continued booing him. It was pretty funny. Sadly, he struck out that at bat and got booed mercilessly.

But on a brighter note, he did get a single tonight, which I sure made everyone excited to be paying him 38.5 million this year.....


Update: I just read that after he got his single he was finally given that Standing Ovation! Feel good story of the summer!

FWIW, the guy they got is only 22 and looks like he'll need some seasoning before they even consider using him in the majors.

His 14+ Ks per 9 innings is enticing though. Hes also a lefty.

Not sure why things went off the rails for Brogdan. He was pretty solid in 2022.
