June 17 and Phils are three games over .500 at 37-34. That's where the Phils were least year on June 22. On July 24 the NL champs were still stuck at three games over .500, at 49-46. LOL. Then in the August heat, they began to pull away with win streaks of 8 games and 6 games. All fans need is patience.

Sucks that the Dodgers couldn’t do their part and beat the Giants. Phil’s would be in the wildcard right now. That’s a silly lament though. Lots of baseball left. Yeah I agree. Unless there is some injury we don't know about. The Braves have been scoring double digit runs for the last couple weeks. This was a chance to steal one against their ace.

Amazing 7-6 win at the sold out park today featuring classic Mets meltdown. Losing 6-3 in the 8th, I figured it was over. But a single, three walks, a throwing error, and two hit batsmen resulted in four runs to push the Phillies over the top, shutting up the usual thousands of boisterous Mets fans.

On Tuesday, I stated when Braves and Mets left town the Phils would either be 6 out or 10 out of first. They're 10 out. Braves keep winning.

I think April and May could have cost them the division again unless the Braves have another rash of injuries the year they < checks notes> won the World Series haha.

But only 2 out of the wildcard. Wildcard race is tight. Marlins, Giants, Dodgers, Phillies, Brewers all involved for 3 spots.
