We are 5-5 in the last ten games and the Mutts are 8-2 and the Bitches at 7-3. If we are going to catch either one of those bastards, we are going to have to start going like 7-3 in every ten games.

Here ya go jvett. It is an inuendo type article or read-between-the-lines. Apparently Girardi didn't trust the youngsters and Thompson does.

Thanks, retro. If the players really feel better with Thompson that's all we need to know. It does seem Girardi tried to give the young guys a shot, Stott, Stubbs, Bohm, etc., but when the big well-paid guns aren't getting it done, it can be tough to plug in a rookie, but a manager must have the balls to do it. With Segura out we'll see if Stott makes the best of this opportunity and can do some damage at ss/2b.

That Philadelphia Phillies @Phillies twitter link has good info.

This sounds fairly suspicious. Camargo with knee strain. Really? Camargo goes on a 10-day vacation and Kingery and Vierling come off of the IR or IL.

Kingery was hitting just .185 (10 for 54) at Triple A. What the heck happened to this guy. I had him picked for greatness years ago. Phillies did too and gave him a 6-year guaranteed $24 million contract. He collects $6 mill this year. EZ money.

And we win another one a five-game winning streak. Maybe the Dildoes are dying a slow death afterall.

This is def a good move in the right direction when you have a bunch of dumpster-dived, relief, douchebag pitchers like Knebel who can always find a way to lose a game. Going after Rosenthal would def help!

Looks like we are suddenly becoming the team that everyone hopwed we would be when they hired Girardi. WE have a 5-game winning streak going on, we remain at 5-5 in the last 10, the Mutts just lost one, and the Bitches have won 6-straight. This is going to be a wait-and-see affair but with all the line-up changes and Thompson letting the rooks and youngsters play, the Phillies are def emerging and the Dildoes are def dying.

Herrera and Stott have homered and even the POdS is hitting better under Thompson. Hoskins also homered.
