One of them is the division leader. It just displays it as a 3 way tie.
Yea jvett, the Phillies are in-play with a number of scenarios including up to winning the NL East. Granted, the Phillies will have to play very well to catch the Mutts. It is not impossible but all of the recent moves have us playing pretty well and the Phillies can no longer afford Dildoes ball if they want to catch the Mutts. They have a very good chance of catching the Bitches before the Mutts which would move the Phillies into the Number 2 spot scenarios. All of the above are possible with about 50 games to go!Actually, at the moment, after Atlanta, there’s close to a three-way tie among SD, PHL, and STL-MIL for the 2nd and 3rd wild cards.
Yeah mlb sets up the free agency rules like that to keep the smaller market teams competitive, which is good but you have to realize that when you sign a guy in free agency he might already be near the end of his prime so you're going to be over paying. The good thing about Bryce is he started playing in the majors when he was about 19 so he's still relatively young.Yea jvett. It looks like the pattern with everyone is if you give a monstrous contract to a given player, they often just crap-out. Seldom does a player get better or explode into the stratosphere. Seldom does a player that "gets paid" reflect the worth of the contract unless your name is Aaron Donald in pro football.
Back in baseball with the Phillies, look where Castellanos was headed until some trade (and his wife apparently) got his attention. Only recently has Bryce Harper started to play-up to his salary level. And he is hurt. So this is definitely a case of buyer beware!
Nah jvett. I have seen you predict a big bomb on several occasions that actually happened!I’ll only jinx them by predicting.![]()
