We need to win tomorrow and take the sweep and then we go to Atlanta for two games. I would love to see the Phillies take both of those games from the Bitches.

Now is not the time for losing games just because you want to be a Dildoe and take a game off. WE really need to get after things and catch and pass the Bitches for a change.

Well jvett. Your optimism continues to pay dividends. Maybe your preseason progs are going to all come true!!

That would be cool. But Mutts and Squaws continue to play .600 ball in July. Phils are 24-10, .583, which keeps them close. I’m hoping the return of Harp and Segura along with possibly rejuvenated Castellanos can make a real difference. Plus any pitching help they get in the next few days.

Don't know if I'll get back for the early game. Nola goes and hopefully the Phillies will sweep these fools.

Castellanos and Bohm spraying hits all over the place. Now we just need to get Harper back and stick him in the middle

Wow, Bohm is red-hot. Almost batting .300. Fell a triple short of the cycle. Bohm was 4 of 5 today. Castellanos finally breaks out, He was also 4 of 5. Realmuto was 3 for 5 and Vierling was 2 of 4. Shoot, even Herrera had a hit. WE kicked the Pirates' asses. 4-straight. Now the Phillies are finally showing-up at the ballpark. They are going to have to keep this going because the Bitches and the Mutts both won. Great day for the Phillies!!

Onward we go to Atlanta. We really need to take both games!!

That is not only a for-sure statement jvett, but it is critical for the Phillies to band the Dildoes and get on with. They lose these two, I don't see us catching either the Bitches or the Mutts! The Phillies are at a tipping point with 58 left.

Phillies involved in talks with the Reds to trade for Mahle, RHP. Cincinnati wants top prospects for the outfield and catcher but Dombrowski and Fuld have said no to Hoppe, Abel and Painter. Send the Reds, Moniak, Familia, Nelson, and maybe Herrera for Mahle is my opinion.

The Phillies were right in not trading Bohm because he has become a very cheap break-out player this year. So I am sure Dombrowski has tried to stem the habit of dumpster-diving and he is going after quality Pitcher help since we got Sosa.

The Reds are out of the race so they don't want any of those douche bag relievers. You have to give up something to get something.

58 is not a lot of games left, retro. The 55-47 Phils need to go 35-23, .603, just to win 90 and the 62-41 Braves can loaf at 28-31 to reach 90. But the real competition is for the 2nd wild card where it's SD vs Phillies. I say that since Padres just acquired reliever Josh Hader from MIL making Pads tougher than STL for the WC.

Phils may still have an edge since SD must play 21 games vs Dodgers and Giants. But Phils will have 15 vs Braves and Mutts, and toss in a series with SF and HOU. Phils control their own destiny and gotta play no less than .600 ball. :hope:

Phillies get reliever David Robinson from the Cubs. The 37-year old tossed 40 1/3 innings of 2.23 ERA ball with Chicago, striking out over 30% of opposing hitters while inducing ground-balls at an above-average 48.3% clip. Hope he doesn't tire in September.
