Yes, it would! But I don't think it was going to work in Philly no matter what. Maybe the fact that was about to get shipped back to Finland will inspire him to work harder and he thankful for another shot at the NHL.

Well, according to them he isn't good enough offensively yet to bump anyone out of the top 6 and isn't good enough on D to play third or fourth line yet. I am pretty optimistic right now about our young guns. I would gladly lose one of them for a potential young stud dman though.

Yeah, I'm assuming they don't think Cousins actually did that and he was telling him to be careful not to put himself in situations where some one could accuse him of something like that. Just my guess.
