From ESPN Insider, ranking the team prospect pools:

6. Philadelphia Flyers
Previous rank: 10

It's hard to criticize the Flyers' system. Talented all-around centers? Check. Dynamic big defensemen? Check. Ridiculous goaltender depth? Check. Depth through their amateur and professional ranks? Check. Players with star upside? Check. They don't have an Auston Matthews-caliber player in the pipeline, but that player doesn't stay in your system longer than three months anyhow. Ron Hextall emphasizes patience in developing players, so I do expect this system to remain at a high level for another two seasons as the build continues.

Some updates for fun:

1. The Flyers stole a player in Oskar Lindblom. He's got 14 points (5g, 9a) to lead the SHL in points. SHL widely considered the 3rd best league in the world. Leading that league in scoring through 13 games as a 20 year old is pretty impressive.

2. Felix Sandstrom mostly serves as Brynas' backup. He's got a 2.69 GAA and .882 sv% in 6 appearances. The guy I follow on twitter that keeps up with the internationals claims Brynas' defense is horrific. Their starter has a 2.17 GAA and .919 sv% in 7gp for reference.

3. Pascal Laberge has 4 points in 7 games. He's missed quite a few after getting lit up a couple weeks ago. The guy who hit him got a 6 game suspension and lots (perhaps flyers bias) were appalled it was that little. It was a pretty nasty hit.

4. German Rubstov has 13 points in 13 MHL games, the KHL's minor league. He's played, but very sparingly, in a couple KHL games i think.

5. Carter Hart is still a force. 2.08 GAA and .919 sv% through 10 games. 1st and 4th respectively against starting goalies in the WHL.

6. Wade Allison is in a 4 way tie for the Western Michigan points lead with 5 points (3g, 2a) in 4 games. They're 3-0-1.

6. The Phantoms have only played 3 games. Most notable guys down there are Travis Sanheim, Jordan Weal, and Sam Morin they each have 2 assists. Anthony Stolarz and Alex Lyon are struggling statistically at this point, but its early. Phantoms are 1-1-1.

there were some rumors swirling over the weekend that Rubtsov may stay in canada after the Super Series (CHL vs. Russia). His rights are owned by a QMJHL with a French name that I cant spell off the top of my head haha.

that would be huge for Rubtsov's development I think. Playing mostly in the KHL's minor league (MHL) is not the highest quality of competition..

Well, the Phantoms are officially scorching hot entering their game tonight at Bridgeport.

The win streak is at 8 games and they have outscored the opposition 36-14 across that stretch. Bridgeport is actually one of the last teams to beat them on October 29th. 57 total goals scored leads the league and a win tonight could tie them with WBS for the best overall record as well. They've already beaten WBS 4-1 during this run. Losing Stolarz to the Flyers hasn't seemed to hurt them either with Lyon still in net.

Bridgeport has their number. They're 10-1-1 against the rest of the AHL, 0-3-0 against Bridgeport following the loss on Saturday. Kinda weird how that works!

Myers and Hart selected for the upcoming World Juniors camp for Canada. Hart is expected to be the starting goalie.

Hart pitched his 3rd shutout in a row last night. 189:25 straight shutout minutes.

Improved his stats to .939 sv% and 1.59 GAA in 17 games this season.

prospects had a really good weekend..

Bunnaman had a hat trick on Saturday
Dove-McFalls scored a goal Sunday
Salinitri scored Sunday and had an assist and shootout winner on Saturday
Laczynski is having a great season, 6 goals 16 assists, +15 in 15 games with Ohio State (4 points in their game Saturday)
Myers had a goal and an assist on Saturday and a goal on Friday
Twarynski had a goal and an assist on Saturday
Allison had a goal and a shootout winner on Saturday
Friedman had an assist on Saturday
Lindblom had a great goal on Saturday
Sandstrom had a shutout
Hogberg, according to twitter was the best player on the ice in the Brynas/Vaxjo game, he played on the top pair for Vaxjo
Bernhardt had an assist

on the unfortunate side, Hart's shutout streak was snapped and Rubtsov/Vorobyov barely played in a few KHL games.

also, sweden announced their preliminary WJC team this morning. Sandstrom and Bernhardt on the list.

Lindblom is not, which was shocking, but it's because he made the Sweden senior team for a tournament right before it. Not exactly sure how that all works, but it seems like this would be more of an honor than playing in the WJC?

Laczynski named to the USA preliminary roster for WJC as well. Pretty stellar for a 6th round pick last year.

All this and Labarge has yet to put up his numbers just coming back from his concussion.
