It tells you that he knows what he's doing and also that he left a pretty damn good team behind him to go to the Nhl. So, we're more than happy to have him here. Hopefully he traded an NCAA title for a Stanley Cup.

Caggiula signed with the Oilers last night. Playing time, mcdavid, new arena, I guess factored in. I don't know why young guys keep picking the Oilers. They're a proven failure.

It's true. The Oilers are like the Leafs of the NHL. Err, of the western conference. Except, less successful and more of a clusterfuck.

Or, they're like the Penguins of the west, without all of the wins and that lonely Cup.

to me, they're worse than the Leafs. The Leafs seem like they're on the right track now. They've got loads of talent in the pipeline that will only get better with Matthews. The Oilers keep drafting in the top 5 and keep finding mediocre guys to put in their lineup.

He was from Canada is my feeling why he signed with the Oilers plus McDavid. I thought he was going to us since Hak is our coach but screw him. He just made the first mistake of his career (I hope)

Indeed. Can't wait to get a better look at him in the future. Watching the playoffs now and watching guys like Hedman and Letang play big minutes for their teams just makes me salivate over the Flyers prospect pool even more.

Provorov's Wheat Kings got walloped last night in Seattle. Still up 3-1 in the series. Game 5 is tomorrow.

Myers's Huskies are up 3-1 also. Game 5 is tonight.

Both teams seeking a birth in the Memorial Cup. Red Deer (host) and London (OHL) have already clinched berths.
