God, New Yorkers suck! They should never do Major tournaments in this state. These frickin drunkards yelling and screaming around Woods' wayward tee shot on the first hole are just sickening. Just loudmouth fools.

It is over.

You mean like they were saying when Molinari was standing on the 15th tee on a Sunday last April?

There's two days to go.

Two.

Koepka looks like he'll run away with this tournament.

1) I still think it's a stupid move.
2) Fuck that fat-assed pig Daly
3) So sick and tired of the media having to CONSTANTLY hammer on about each and every player's chances. Apparently, Koepka won the tournament yesterday while Tiger missed the cut.

Of course it's not likely but Tiger could shoot 65, 68, 68 and win the fucking thing while Koepka could go 72, 70 ,73 and lose. It's golf...shit happens but these guys seem to have nothing but constant predictions. Can we just watch the damn tournament?
Hey bro did you hear? Tiger missed the cut, man

Tiger misses the cut and the leader with a 7 stroke cushion.

PGA & Network Exces are in talks with the fan man to crash the 18th green so their sponsors don't ask for a refund.

No one; not a single person said that.

Just found this.

Why We’re Moving the PGA to May - Golf Digest

Southern venues are not as hot as in August and a wider range of courses in better shape in May than in August.

There was also this, which is sort of related to what I said, but they didn't state it in so many words -

• Television and media consumption are as healthy or healthier during that time of year.

It's sweeps month, more people watch TV in May than in August and they figure by making it #2 in the majors schedule it will translate into more interest.

I can dig this. I remember a buddy playing in the last PGA championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa. 110-116 degree highs all week that week.

Weather in May is way better than in August. You risk some possible rain but overall that makes sense

Koepka can probably shoot par this weekend and still win. That would be 6 pga tour wins, with 4 of them being majors and he damn near won at Augusta. This is not the way it's supposed to work. I really can't think of another example, in any sport where someone, who's just another player otherwise, regularly elevates their game in the biggest moments to this extent. He's just operating at a completely different level.

Fast forward to the 6:15 mark. He explains it.

Yeah I saw that and I get it as theory. If it was coming from Tiger or Jack in their primes it would all make perfect sense. In fact, I think Nicklaus even expressed similar thoughts about playing in majors. But someone who isn't otherwise dominant isn't supposed to be able to translate that theory into results. It's pretty amazing.

Beware of the golf Gods.

Have we not seen this movie before? Rory, Spieth ...gobbling up majors like candy in a 3 year span.
But what are people saying now? ....Hey, why have you not won another major? (as if 3 or 4 was not enough)

Brooks is white hot, but the real though part is managing the dips.

The problem for those 3 guys going forward ....is each other.

But not for Brooks right now. He is peaking and they are not.

Hoping that Koepka can come back a bit and some of the others on the first page of the leaderboard can play some good golf so tomorrow isn't just some coronation.

Koepka shows no sign of slowing down.

I was just telling my buddy I bet 2nd place after Sunday’s round is around 8 or 9 under. Could be 10 if someone gets going but Bethpage is no cupcake on the weekend especially.

Spieth has 2 years dam good golf and was in just about every major if I remember correctly

Koepka is just treading water, but nobody else is making any real moves. That is, unless you consider Luke List a somebody.
