Palmer got owned. This is clearly not the outcome he expected.

So just what did he expect? This is just Mike Brown being Mike Brown. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

if Dalton continues to play like this Brown might be willing to trade Palmer next season,if not Palmer has 2 choices retire or come back,if he comes back the Bengals won't play him and to give a guy that much money to sit on the bench is foolish so I think Palmer would then be trade bait

You are probably right but to me the overriding problem, and to the point exactly what is wrong with this franchise, is Brown's willingness to ignore what's best for the franchise (getting market value for his disgruntled quarterback) for the sake of "winning" a silly dispute......and the loyal fans continue to take it in the ass......

He expected to be traded, obviously. Oops.

He should have been traded. But I don't know why he would have expected it. Expecting Mike Brown to be anything less than vindictive is a major miscalculation on his part.

Palmer obviously aint the brightest bulb. He and his agent absolutely thought they'd win. They thought wrong

So he didn't realize just how much of an asshole Mike could be.....I sure would like to have the draft pick(s) Palmer could have brought the team.....sure we'd probably fuck them up, but it's beyond moronic not to try....

I'm not sure exactly how Brown won either. He thought he could coax/force Palmer back by not trading him. It obviously didn't work and by the looks of it, won't work.

"Palmer got owned. This is clearly not the outcome he expected."

The name "Palmer" in the above quote is interchangeable with "Brown".

They're both losers here to their own stubborn minds.
