1) You know the drill here ***8230; best individual performance you saw in Week 6?

Khaled: Justin Smith. I said it in my team of the week article and I***8217;ll say it again. He was utterly relentless. They put a guard on him, had a tackle try and stop him, and even tried getting a center to downblock on him. None of it worked.

I have yet to sign up for the membership part to get their full stats, which I'm planning on doing, so I can't share anything there, but he is somewhat of a surprising omission I suppose.

Five days ago they had an article (free) that said he is by far the best TE this season in their TE pass rating. It'd be interesting to see where he's at in their blocking (pass/run) ratings/rankings.

I can't really argue with this, all though Gronk and Finley are going to give him a run for his money.

Was that the new stat they created about yards per route run?

No. This is different than that. Although, Graham ranks high in that stat as well. This is the article on yards per route run with everything about Jimmy Graham highlighted (except for the charts):

Of course, it’s not just the wide receivers who this applies to. It’s also a pretty handy tool for looking at which tight ends are having the biggest impact in their teams’ passing game, and which warrant more route running and less time providing extra pass protection. A surprise does therefore top the list. We’re talking about ‘blocking specialist’ Jeff King, who has turned his 50 routes run into 135 yards. Given his past performance, we’d expect a bigger sample size to see this number drop out, and the guy below him, Jimmy Graham, to replace him. Graham has been everything advertised, picking up 2.66 yards per route run as he makes himself the go-to guy in the Saints’ offense. It’s nice when players live up the hype isn’t it?

Thanks Pozz, I think I saw something today, possibly in one of the articles you posted, that Graham had taken the lead among TEs in that stat.
