All these numbers means nothing if they're not the last team standing in February at Metlife

And for some reason that only applies to Peyton Manning. If it's Brees or Brady, they're the GOAT. Amazing.

This shouldn't even be in question.

Yeah. Hell Yeah.

He already has 4 TD's at half too.

Brees is mediocre.

But I'm not sure how numbers and wins being given more credit than just numbers is unfair.

Add Romo to that list on the stats he is not on level with those 3 but his stats hold up

Just wish his post season was good

Hell I just wish the Cowboys were good again :L

Montana will still be the greatest ever IMO. Peyton and Brady are 2 and 2A.

It's hard to top a QB performance for greatest, because of the impact the position has. For non-qbs, I would throw Barry Sanders '97 out there, as a potential candidate, though.

The season is unmatched.

If he wins the first unanimous MVP + a super bowl....

It will be the greatest single player season in NFL history.

It might already be it without the unanimous MVP and ring.

Age 37, 2 years removed from freaking neck surgery, new team, new coaches

amazing.

Manning is the best ever, and it's not even close.

(Patriot fans, do not take this as a Brady bash, this has nothing to do with Brady.)

Manning is just the best to have ever played this position, and has proven so once again, this season.

'Nuff said. :suds:

And yes, I couldn't be happier for Jim Irsay. He truly deserves it.

Which is exactly what you guys said about that game-ending INT he threw in Miami right into the breadbasket of the DB.

"The receiver should have caught that."

Thought I would throw this question out. IMO he is having hands down the greatest season of all time but I'm sure someone will disagree with that.

He recently broke the record for touchdown passes in a season and if he throws for 266 yards next week will also hold the record for passing yards in a season.

Is Manning having the greatest season of all time?

Why would you be asking now??????

Yes, but that's be design.

Each year the rules on passing change to make it easier to complete them so stats are going to go up.

That being said yeah, he's having the single greatest season - stat wise - of all time.

But, if like Brady, he fails to cash in and win the SB it's all for naught.
