@theknight307 Dude, please stop trolling the Broncos board! Are you no longer allowed on the politics forum?

William Jackson III is the CB you're thinking of. He was a really good player for UH. Hope he makes it in the NFL.

And Tom Herman is the coach you mention. Hope he stays around long enough to finish what he started, unlike Briles and Sumlin. Herman is basing his model on what Howard Shnellinberger and Jimmy Johnson did at UM back in the 80's, by getting a lot of local talent to remain local. I think this year's recruiting class is ranked between 25 and 40, depending on which recruiting service rankings you look at.

Yeah, Texas has a lot of great football. Ought to be able to get some good recruits there. The one bad double edged sword aspect of all that is if and when he gets more and more success, will be when schools like Texas or USC etc will come a knockin. Not to mention the NFL.

The U has always been a bit of a spring board for aspiring coaches that wanted to go to the NFL.

Anyway, he ought to get some really good recruits.

Oh, I am not going on there anymore. Many people do not get my sense of humor. I offend too many peoples delicate little sensibilities. It is happening on this board too.

People are funny. I guess I was too big of an Andy Kaufman fan.

Just retire. End your career in the best way possible. If he does play, he will most likely want to go on a contending team, right? Well honestly Denver is the best team for him and doesn't look like that will happen. Plus the injuries and body breakdown has to be issue. I don't believe, I still think he retires.

Doesn't effect Denver . They will cut him because I heard failing a physical now counts something against the salary cap.

I was just gonna say. I am not sure he can pass a physical right now.

The good thing is none of Manning's contract is guaranteed for injury. So even if the physical comes back he is hurt in some way it shouldn't affect the cap for us. Just gives us a more justifiable reason to cut him.

Now that is probably true .. he is probably going to take all of the off season to come close to passing a physical

Not true. Johnny Bronco went out on top two years in a row.
