Colts backup?

Hard to see a team wanting him as a starter at this point.

I am predicting Jeff Fisher and the NFL wanting to make a splash in LA.

Marketing wise that does make sense. And they haven't done well in some time so a bad QB wouldn't really matter.

Just would be disappointed in Manning if it does play out that way.

Doesn't seem like a good decision to me. He's got nothin' left in the tank. He's running the risk of getting really hurt!

He has been a contrarian for a while now. Really dating back to when he chose UT over Ole Miss.

When he signed his five year deal four years ago he made it pretty clear that he wanted to play a full five years. Have to think that that plays a big part in his desire to play another season.

Doesn't effect Denver . They will cut him because I heard failing a physical now counts something against the salary cap.

Yeah, screw that guy for wanting to continue to do what he's done his whole life! Man, what a jerk! Doesn't he know there are people on message boards that think he should just hang it up? Who cares how much he loves to play football? Who cares if there are teams out there willing to sign him? He should quit because people like me think he needs to retire!

He sucks. We have been over this. You know nothing about the game if you are trying to argue otherwise.

Say TD. Meant to tell you.

Congrats on your Cougars over my Noles.

Very impressive in that game. :thumb:

Appreciate it, bro. I was certainly worried that UH could even compete with an FSU team that was only two years removed from winning the national championship.

Took my boy to Atlanta to watch it live. We were about 20 rows back on the 50 yard line. Probably the most enjoyable game I've ever attended.

Wow, that must have been great. Hope your boy had a good time. Must have been pretty exciting. Those are great seats too. Happy for your team.

That new coach seems to be the real deal. How did they do recruiting? I saw that DB in combine (forgot his name). He ran like a 4.3 or something. He looks bad ass to me.

Not shocked that UH won it.

William Jackson III is the CB you're thinking of. He was a really good player for UH. Hope he makes it in the NFL.

And Tom Herman is the coach you mention. Hope he stays around long enough to finish what he started, unlike Briles and Sumlin. Herman is basing his model on what Howard Shnellinberger and Jimmy Johnson did at UM back in the 80's, by getting a lot of local talent to remain local. I think this year's recruiting class is ranked between 25 and 40, depending on which recruiting service rankings you look at.
