I am just trolling DoubleJive a bit. Manning played a superior team/defense. He never had a chance and I never gave him one. Seattle was the worst possible match-up for the Broncos. Peyton didn't play well but no QB that can't make a play with his legs has much of a chance against them.

The worst choke of a QB in the SB that I can remember was Neil O'Donnell. Peyton blew and so did the entire team but the Hawks were just that much better than them in every position....to my surprise. I thought that the Broncos would put up a good fight.....I was wrong. Made for a really boring game.

Peyton didn't choke he just straight up sucked. Now that pick 6 against the Saints or INT against the Ravens in double OT, those are the classic examples of Peyton choking. 11-12 playoff record. Great in the regular season, average in the playoffs.

Not every Manning defeat is a referendum on Brady and every Brady success is not a reflection on Manning's abilities.

I bet at the end of the day they are both HOF QBs and people can argue who the generations best was. But yesterday was about the Seahawks and one of the best defenses I have ever seen. The only team close was the Chicago Bears SB team under Ditka. Yet nobody compares them as which was the greatest. It's about who lost apparently.
