That's really amazing because you share the same, exact IP address with another Yankees fan who sounded just like you. His name was Dirt. Shall I post screenshots?

That will shut him up real quick.

while it was a whole team choke job, Peyton's play was mystifyingly awful. I can't recall offhand a worse performance by a great QB in a Super Bowl. Epic choke.

Anyone voting this as a choke needs to pull their head out of their ass.

Is it a choke if you get beat by the better team?

I've always seen a choke as you blew it with lead or close game. This was more a sub par performance against a great D.

With a high percentage of that subpar performance being a result of what that great D was doing. Denver was not prepared at all for the speed and aggression the Seattle defense brought to the game.

He choked. He had the greatest season ever for a starting QB and gave us that in the Super Bowl. Anyone not calling it a choke is either a Seahawks fan or just lying to themselves. He CHOKED.

Live it, love it, accept it.

Agreed that's poor coaching IMO you can't expect to just cruise by everyone on what worked in the regular season. The refs don't call the games as tight so that allows the d to actually be a bit physical and the broncos receivers look lost almost all night

You do not get dominated in every facet and walk away and say "It was a choke" that was the highest scoring offense in the NFL,the number one team from the AFC.

Maybe it is you're bias that should be looked into.

He's the reason they got dominated. He had opportunities to make plays and instead threw pick or dead ducks. I think you want it to be something that it wasn't.

It was a choke job.

Peyton is always on a good team. His team, more often than not, is FAVORED to win......so I don't want to hear that his team was all scrubs outside of him.

He couldn't beat Florida in college....then he leaves, and a team of scrubs wins the NC.

He takes a good team in Indy to the playoffs annually, and was one and done, despite being favored in most of the games. He finally won one, but he lost another.

His playoff record is at .500, and I THINK he's thrown more INTs than TDs. He's the only all time great I know with this BAD a playoff record.

He CONSISTENTLY loses in the postseason and big games. I understand it's a team game......but how many more times does this have to happen, SPECIFICALLY to him and teams he's on, before some of you figure out he's part of the problem??? He's only being doing this since college!

1. We're supposed to fault him for his team not winning a popularity contest?

2. Not even close. He has much more TDs than INTs in the playoffs.

Seattle deserves some credit, of course. But Peyton made a lot of really unforced errors. Have you watched the All-22 yet? He didn't see open receivers, his passes were frequently ducks, his accuracy was terrible except at short range. His outside throws were atrocious. Yes, a couple of them were caused by pass rush. But a lot of them he was fine. Certainly wouldn't have stopped Roethlisberger or Rodgers or hell even Manning himself usually. The safety? That had nothing to do whatsoever with Seattle. They could have been playing a high school team.

The coaching was also bad. The tackling was terrible. Julius Thomas fumbling...there was nothing particularly ferocious in that tackle, he simply was careless. Totally careless. It wasn't like Tillman punching a ball out. That's why Thomas had that dopey look on his face. Harvin's TD? Tamme crossed the legs of his teammate, it wasn't anything Seattle did.

Congrats to Seattle. You had a great season. But Denver gave you the game. And it was headscratchingly bad. With the worst of the play coming from Manning himself.

Total choke job.

The only SB he won, he had more INTs than TDs. He has 12 loses in the playoffs, and is UNDER .500.

At some point, those numbers HE has to own. I'm not saying it's completely his fault. But he comes up short nearly every time. That's on him.

Most of us don't consider Troy Aikman a top 5 or 10 all time QB. But he SMASHED every HOFer he faced for a decade and won nearly all his playoff opportunities. He was clutch - part of the solution.

Peyton Manning IS A CHOKER. That's obvious. The only question is how much blame you want to put on his head.

Guess hammer ran off

Compared to some of his complete abortions before manning didn't choke he just sucked period. And that was a lot to do with Seattle
