Jackson and Fuller are Pro Bowlers.

Did I hear one of the announcers say Roquan could be the DROY...………?

seems a little far fetched, but then again, not sure about the play of other defensive rookies...…….

Yup. He attributed that FF to Smith, tho it was Jackson with the Trifecta. FF, FR RT

Smith's play has been steadily improving with each passing week. I thought he had a few uncostly hiccups today, but overall his play was topnotch. The kid is fast, fast, fast, and he's a better hitter than some might be giving him credit for. I think he has a decent chance at DROY, especially if his game continues to ascend.

I was watching NFL live today and they polled the question of who was winning the DROY Award and of the names they had Roquan was not one of them......They had Bradley Chubb as winning with Denzel Ward 2nd,Dariou Leonard and I forgot the 4th guy.....But yeah,Roquan has played ok,but holding out may of held him back to playing up to his potential.....And I really didn't think he played well enough to even be in the discussion.

Smith would have to play lights out. However, if he keeps turning in 13 tackles every game. It'll go a long way, to say the least. lol

Right now "All-Rookie Team" is within grasp. Probably not DROY unless he goes ballistic in the 2nd half.

We also have to remember it's tough for a rookie ILB (as opposed to MLB) to make the kind of splashy impact that usually brings attention to other potential DROY positions, such as EDGE or CB/S. And couple this with Roquan getting off to such a slow start due to his holdout, he does have an uphill battle to win the award. It's not out of the question, I just wouldn't bet the farm on it.
