The only way we win this is if we go through the whole roster and come back to Letang.

Wow, Fleury had some awesome goaltending there, and Jeffrey was able to beat Lundqvist. Good win, I'd say. Character win.

That was victory stolen from the jaws of defeat. Had no place winning that game. That said, the team showed a lot of character. Oh, and DJ needs to stay the rest of the season (unless we acquire a 'piece' at the deadline)

Another comment: Really hope Staal doesn't get a suspension (although I wouldn't complain if the 1 game came down, and apparently it's automatic), because it was really a stupid thing to do. Obviously he had reason to shove Prust, but punches to the face are never necessary (unless in an actual fight of course). That SAID, for a guy that held his own in a stand off with Godard, he went down real quick. Of course, who wouldn't embellish a punch to the chops.

Yeah, but I tend to think he wasn't embellishing. If you're not expecting a shot to the chops (and I believe he was still primarily focused on the play) it doesn't take much to send a guy down to the ice.

Nah, I agree (you'll probably read my post in the other thread, haha), it was more how he stayed down and covered his head but in reality just stretched his jaw and moved on to play his next shift that bothered me. That was a bit of a show, in my completely biased and uneducated in relation to the situation opinion :)
