in situations like this, I have no problem with the justice system locking up sandusky and throwing away the key. there is enough evidence out there that sandusky is guilty and he shouldnt be out on bail at all. locked up and thrown away.

you're telling me PSU doesn't know all the info yet on this case? when sandusky's lawyer himself said sandusky has been preparing for this for 3 years. PSU didn't know what was happening? doesnt have all the facts? I call BS.

The President of the University knew something, and probably needs to go as well along with the AD and many other within the athletic department.

Do you honestly think that that student body, those alumni, and the 50-60 or however many players are a part of that team this year deserve to be punished because of the actions of a few people? Even though the NCAA punishes teams because of the actions of a few players, i dont think there is any reason whatsoever for Penn State to forfeit a single game. But i do think they need to clean house. Everyone who knew anything need to be out of there, because what they did (or didnt do) is just as bad as what Sandusky did.

Obviously I ment the administration and football staff. I never said forfeiting games. But if they all get canned it will effect the team.

I said in another thread that shutting the program down right now would be the thing they should do, except that it unduly punishes a LOT of people who in no way had any part of these awful criminal acts. For that reason, they just can't do that at this point. They have to finish out the season, should be with a new coach, and then completely start over with a fresh new staff. I hate that a lot of good, innocent people are going to lose their jobs over this but what do yo expect?
