Lost out on Kareem, tough lose, but the fact that we were in it goes to show how good our recruiting is doing. Now need to focus on persuading Bookser to come join the best school in PA and its not on the river haha

We could be back in the running for Are if Jimbo Fisher leaves FSU (which I highly doubt since they are going to BCS championship game) However if he is offered a NFL job he might take it.

Nope, JUCO's actually signed today and are bound to LOI's now. Also, Jimbo more likely to end up a longhorn than in NFL

Why? if the staff feels he's not that good after evaluating him in person several times, why would you want him?? Star rankings look nice until you get some over rated scrub on field who never produces. They actually offered another 3 star kid who is committed to Rutgers recently.

I'd rather have kids in next year's calss, not just give ships to guys they think are marginal for the sake of giving them out.

I've yet to hear anyone who's seen Bookser play this year come away impressed. Much like Nicholson. I wanted him at PSU till I saw him play live. Looks like tarzan, plays like Jane.....camp 7 on 7 warrior.

I'd rather have guy #1 on BOB's board over going by the opinion of some of these who coeven qualified to make BOB a sandwich during film evaluations.

Our staff knows what they are looking for to fit what they want to do. BOB learned his lessons well in NE.

Look where it got Florida. Meyer had top 5 classes every year and left as soon as he realized he had recruited a bunch of over rated stiffs. Look at the fallout now, they still haven't recovered. he won with Zooks guys and Tebow.

BTW, Stay puff softy Bookser committed to Pitt, so you can finally stop worrying about him

Just for LinebackerU, 3 star OT Cohen does look likely to commit to PSU because the other teams that offered him only have good basketball teams not football (Duke, Maryland and Virginia).

PSU was his top team from start, he committed 10 months ago, thus lack of many more offers and Duke played for ACC title this year over schools like VT, miami, Clemson, etc....virginia has a monster class, so an offer from them is a solid offer this year.

He's a 4 star on 247 and Rivals.
