I still don't like the new playoff format. Top 4 teams get a major advantage with a first round bye. I would have preferred just eight teams all having to win three games to win the championship.

That's fair, but then we would still have (as of this moment) a team like BYU or Army go undefeated for the entire season and finish 9th or 10th, missing the playoffs.

Who deserves to be in, 12-0 BYU/Army or a 10-2 Bama/LSU? I guess both of them, really. That's why we're at 12 right now, I would assume.
