I still don't like the new playoff format. Top 4 teams get a major advantage with a first round bye. I would have preferred just eight teams all having to win three games to win the championship.

That's fair, but then we would still have (as of this moment) a team like BYU or Army go undefeated for the entire season and finish 9th or 10th, missing the playoffs.

Who deserves to be in, 12-0 BYU/Army or a 10-2 Bama/LSU? I guess both of them, really. That's why we're at 12 right now, I would assume.

Not that it matters much to us, but Georgia and Miami go down too. It would be something if Wisconsin were to beat Oregon and Ohio State beat Indiana...Lol Four teams in the Big 10 with just one conference loss. It's a shame we didn't get a shot at Indiana (or even Oregon) this season, truly. One massive game and we blew it. The story of our lives.

Again though, there will definitely be a shot at redemption in the playoff. The 1st game would be in Happy Valley as well.

I've never been more happy to be wrong. But let's wait and see what the playoff committee says on Tuesday.

I could honestly see Notre Dame losing a close one at USC and either being on the road in the 1st round or missing the playoffs entirely.

I don't expect Penn State to get a bye, but they will certainly get a home game against a tough opponent for a little shot at redemption.

At Minnesota was a trap game where they had a bye the week before, are playing well and were ready to go. Not surprised it was close.

Ohio State blows everything by losing to their biggest rival in a year when defending champ Michigan took 5 L's.

So, we've slid into the Big Ten Championship Game. I knew we were getting a shot at redemption, but I didn't expect it to be so soon.

Here's your shot, James Franklin. A chance to play #1 Oregon during primetime with a Big Ten Title and a 1st round Bye on the line. Go get it baby!!

Next Saturday night at 8 pm, we find out if Penn State legitimately deserved this opportunity or we just lucked out. Win or lose, we probably still get into the playoff, so fucking give 'em hell!!
