For me, Allar and the play calling just weren't good enough. Our defense got a critical pick six and a goal-line fumble, but couldn't stop the run for virtually the entire game. Should've had a TD before half and another late in the game. Got zero points out of it. In fact, the offense only gets two field goals worth of points for the entire game. Terrible. As a long-time fan, it's truly sad.

I guess ultimately this boils down to not being able to run the ball or stop them from running the ball. That was essentially the game, especially in the clutch moments like late in a half or in the red zone.

We will absolutely be able to win out and have our shot at revenge in the playoff, but this definitely hurts in the moment.

That's some serious optimism there. Penn State will lose next week and drop out of the playoff.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the pollsters drop PSU out of the top 10.

Franklin has no imagination. Offense sucked. No wonder he's lifetime 1-14 against top 5 teams.

Allar could have walked in 3x on that goal line stand by Ohio State, ends crashed down on those runs and Allar could have stumbled into the end zone drunk if he had to….,,play calling pathetic as always……horrible loss

No shot. I don't see us losing to 5-4 Washington in Happy Valley. We should definitely still run the table and finish 11-1, which should keep us in the top 12 for the playoffs, even without making the Big 10 Championship game.

Sure, that's a gut-wrenching loss yesterday, but Penn State is still heavily favored in the remaining 4 games and to then still make the playoff.

It's a one score loss to the #4 team in the country. I don't think the drop will be that severe and even if it is, running the table will definitely keep Penn State in the top 10 and in the playoff. So many other teams already have 2 losses or a worse single loss.

Yes, and most of them are darling overrated SEC teams.

I'm not discounting the let down loss potential, especially how slow the team has consistently started each game.

There it is. Penn State drops to only #6. No surprise at all, for me. They should definitely win out and make the playoff.

We're still not good enough to beat Ohio State, but we should roll these mediocre Big 10 teams left on the schedule, even with a slow start here and there.

The bracket should be interesting, but Penn State will finish 11-1 and probably face a hardened SEC squad in round 1 of the playoff. It's a shot at redemption, but definitely a big challenge.
