The defense completely dominated Illinois though. Offense was hardly even needed to get the win...Lol Not worried about Allar either. This kid is going to be an absolute STUD!! That was his first ever road start in the Big Ten. He's only going to get better game after game.

I guess due to the weather the gameplan was to keep Drew's passes short and to the outside, but he's going to have to be able to stretch the field more against opponents like OSU/Mich.

I trust Allar and his arm to get the ball deep and accurate more than I trust our WR's to get open and catch that deep ball. So, that's obviously a potential issue against the best of the best.

I was at the game Saturday…..awesome day, great tailgate and attendance was 110K……

Penn States D haven't shown up yet. Northwestern scores a TD where they just marched down the field aided by several PSU penalties.

PSU favored by 27. This was a 10-10 game at half and Penn State won by 28 on a 30 yard TD pass by the backup QB in garbage time. This was after a late interception gave PSU a very short field. Also, there was a question of whether Beau Pribula faked taking a knee right before the TD pass, which is not legal. It's really tough to say, quite frankly.

The defense continues to absolutely wreak havoc. Still some work to do for Allar and the offense.
