Long time Pitt commit Nick Bowers got an offer today, shouldn't take long for this flip to happen. Kid killed it at camp and staff really liked him. Would be a double dose of tears for the sPitt fans if we got sanctions removed and stole their best recruit with the extra ships

HOLY SHIT!!!! Brandon Wimbush is a freaking stud. I'd like to see a better QB in HS right now. Kid looks amazing, making some ridiculous throws, 9-10 for 124 and 3TD in first quarter and a couple nice runs. We got ourselves another VERY good one here folks.....Hopefully it becomes a trend replacing a stud QB with another for us.

Update, end of 1st half 16-21 245 4TD and 4 rushes for 62 yards. they are playing the #10 team in NJ as well with Jaret Guartanamo as QB

He certainly will. The heir apparent to Hack. He already looks more polished than O'Connor. I have not seen Mcsorely, but can't imagine he is anywhere near as physically gifted as Wimbush.

I agree on the more polished than O'Connor. If he stays healthy, Wimbush could be a real solid discovery and future player for us.

Looks like we just flipped 3 or 4 star Daiquan Kelly from Syracuse. He's listed as a safety, but I think he'll play OLB for us. He's also teammates with Gonzalez at Union City. Another pull from Jersey that will make Rutgers mad, especially since he was in attendance last night on an official

That's what I just read Fight On State is saying he is a 4 star player (different reports on rank 3-4star)who will play OLB for us. Very ice pick up and I especially like how he was at Rutgers yesterday.

247 has him as a 4 star on their personal ranks, but he's a 3 star on composite. Regardless of stars, I like his film and think he's a solid pick up for us.

I'm not entirely sure what the staff is doing with the schollys but I assume they'll take at least 5 more. I think the B1G allows you to sign a maximum of 28 though, which would allow a little extra maneuverability assuming people leave and or graduate. I'm not entirely sure though

Kelly is a nice pickup. Very athletic kid who will play OLB. Staff liked him, but the luxury of extra ships got him the offer. Under normal circumstances he'd have been a Lion a while ago.

Oh yeah, he camped for an offer and wanted it bad. That's why it took about 30 seconds to flip Happy we got an extra LB in teh class, need depth and athletes there. Can't wait to see this defense under Shoop with depth and a ton of speed.
