:wtf2: Isiah Pead has been suspended without pay for the season opening game against Arizona for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He may participate in all off-season activities and preseason games.

Nothing against Isiah and Rok, but damn, I'm getting tired of this. We're starting to catch up to the Seattle Steroids!!!

This guy might be Fisher's first bust draft pick. First, Richardson out-performs the guy his rook season and now this. Venturing into the stupid zone perhaps is not going sit well with the braintrust!!!

Subpar young players trying to look good. Pettis got busted last year.

I'm sure half of the league is cheating. We are just in a weird period where we pretend that our athletes our much stronger than they used to be

Yea Clayton, something weird is transpiring here and one-by-one they are suffering the consequences. I just hope they nip this in the bud before we get hammered with some fool doing PEDs at the wrong time of the year.

Wow, that is not good especially with all the dudes we have on our team who have those tendencies like Janoris Jenkins and Chris Givens. Fisher may have his hands full this year putting out these types of fires.

Another "Honey Badger"! No wonder he was too laid back competing last year.

Yea RamCub. Stupid bastard thinks he is somebody when he is not. He fools around long enough, he may find himself in the same predicament as Mr. Young.

Here's what I have been hearing about these 1 games bans - the players are taking prescription medinces that contain a banned substance, and they are allowed to still take those medicines as long as they file the correct paperwork with the league.

Apparently it is OK to be on something, as long as you inform Goodell what it is that you will be taking. I don't personally feel like Rok or Pead are on PEDs, cause they should be a helluva lot better if they were on them. I think that this is more of a rule violation than a reprimanding suspension.

If anyone has the link/insight that the Pead suspension was indeed a pot bust, can you provide the details for me? I'd just like to know if it is legit or questionable, and I like to see the whats/whys behind the NFL suspensions.

Sad story but its not like he was a major contributor on game day. Hope he gets cleaned up.

Still not a good omen. This is first year, IIRC, that the St Louis Rams will be entering the season without a franchise star RB unless one pops up in preseason.

His name is Stacy and he will be the man by half way to the playoffs. You heard it first here. Pead is on the wrong side of a bunch of things right now, that 2nd round pick might be Fisher's only mistake in the draft but that is yet to be determined. Clean it up Pead, no one is excused from anything on this team.

I wonder if there is a way for the NFL to help develop a program to help players keep clean??? Is there one already?

They have the rookie symposium but I don't know how much that really helps. I also know they have some programs where an NFL player can call a number and they will organize a limo ride for him home so they don't drive drunk. The team is not notified so I don't know why guys don't use it more.

No worries, he's a bust anyway. When one door closes, one opens. I hope the other RB's competing for the job are licking their chops and are getting hungry. Go Rams!

I fully agree with you. When I do depth charts, I put him as the guy I expect to win the starting job.

Come on now, let's give him a real shot before putting on the 'Bust' label. Was behind SJax the day he was drafted last year, then was leaped over by DRich during the season. Not many teams out there run the ball enough to give 3 RBs carries. Even with this suspension, I bet he still has a chance to get touches if he can pick things up this offseason.
