PDB: Volch and Zid should be ready for Game 1

Good News. Hope for no setbacks. I'm inclined to believe this, because if they were really not doing well, they'd probably just toe the status quo or DTD line.


Obviously the extra few days will help.

Volchenkov is always banged up and always needs the rest. Him playing is something I don't worry about. You'll have to break his neck to keep him from suiting up in the playoffs.

Zids is my only worry. But I got the vibe had game 7 he wouldn't have left the bench

Good. When the caps won on wednesday I was like " Thank you guys, Kovy,Volchenkov and Zidlicky need to heal 100% for the Rags" Some way somehow them bastards are gonna pull it out I fear. Even though we got rid of Philly rather quickly and surprisingly so, that series was BRUTAL physically so while some ppl will see this is as a bad thing due to a layoff, after that series we needed this rest.
