I am just mystified at these hack refs. Basically the Ravens have 10 points due to the refs and its a close game.

So far 11 first downs due to penalities.

These guys have to go. This is terrible. The Pats should be up by at least 10 right now.

Still 2 mins left and game in question but these guys just suck.

Now the Ravens got the ball with 2 mins to go. Pats willl lose unless Flaco throws a pick. I have never been shy about calling refs suck ass but these guys make Don Kohorski look all american.

Gonna jump on a limb here and bet the regular refs will be back next week or at most the following.

Nationally televised game and the refs screwed this one up so bad even hardcore Ravens fans are tweeting that this game was handed to them on a platter.

I am offically at this point not going to watch football until the real refs are back.

The field goal was good. Close but good. The Patriots were the beneficiaries of as many suspect calls as the Ravens were.
The Patriots gave up 500 yards of offense and did not put the game away when they had the chance. That's not the refs fault.

At the start of the season I really felt the scab refs wouldn't be all that worse than the regular refs... I mean, we saw shit in practically every game that the official officials would fuck up, so how much worse could the scabs be?

Alas, it's much worse. I didn't believe it would be like this, but it is. Every game is a trainwreck. They can't do anything in a timely manner, thus there is no flow to the game.

It's funny though, because as bad as the officiating has been, I can't take my eyes off it. It's like watching a pile-up on the highway. So gruesome, you just can't NOT look at it.

I also like the parallels we have here between the greed of the NFL and NHL lockout. Greed really does rule our society. It's like the plague, and it is evident in every aspect of our lives.

Fair.

I was angry when posting. I disagree that the Pats got the same amount of calls though. The Ravens last drive was kept alive by 2 phantom defensive holding calls. Not one but two. One McCarty was so beaten if Flaco had delivered a good pass it would have been a easy TD. 2nd was 3rd and 7 and alas the defensive hold which the Ravens reciever was blocking so WTF?

The pass interference call was correct on every level though but it should have never got there.

You are right as far as the Pats should have put it away eariler. They should have.

I bet we dont have the same records at the end of the year...

For the brief period of time that the Bills are above the Pats in the standings, I have to enjoy this.

Because I know that it won't last long.

The Sports Guy brought this up in his most recent article, was there ever a better time for fixing games? Are you telling me these scab refs who 2 months ago were working as insurance agents wouldn't take a half million dollar bribe to throw a game? And with how awful the calls have been how would you even notice if they made 4 or 5 more bad calls to reach the over or get the spread right? The intentional bad calls would just get lumped in with the other bad calls.

Also did anybody see the official cost the Cowboys a TD by throwing his hat into the field of play and Kevin Ogletree tripping on it in the endzone?
