It honestly looked to me like the Oline quit blocking for McCoy. I don’t think they want him starting either

Because Dan wants him to quit so he doesn't have to pay his contract. That's why he hasn't been fired.

Firing Gruden accomplishes basically nothing unless Allen is gone too.

I just hope that the people calling for Haskins to start do understand that as bad as McCoy/Keenum have been, they still probably give the Skins a better chance to compete short term than Haskins. Well, at least Keenum.

Keenum is a solid back up QB. Put good players and good scheme around him and he can run a competent NFL offense. Problem is, the Redskins do not have good players.

It would have been a terrible idea to play Haskins against NE unless you wanted to see him battered and humiliated. Miami is a different story, but still think Haskins is probably not ready.

We will probably find out on Sunday.

…. or not learn. I know that sounds negative and I don't mean it that way. Some say he is no where near close. It is important to find out NOW if he is the guy and needs to learn or he is just not the guy. With a reported good QB crop coming out and looking like the team is going to have a very high pick this decision should be made before the end of the year.

Good point(s) however, I believe that both, his ability to learn or not learn are completely dependent upon having people in the building who...

1. completely believe in him
2. will work tirelessly towards giving him every opportunity to succeed
3. Put he and his teammates in the very best position to win
4. Have the patience to suffer through his growing pains.
5. Evaluate him despite the team's inability to win or function as a professional football team.
6. Anything less and they fail him and their own future success.

See there is the rub … if and I do say IF he is having trouble and it is going to take two years then a No. 1 pick should not have been used. Blame Dan and Bruce. IF that is the case and the Skins have a very high pick why would you not draft a QB you thought might be better? IF they (not Dan) think he has the tools and is a year away draft something other than QB.
