Pats Game Observations

I'm watching the Pats game. I've seen 2 WR's wide open for long catches down the field. I see that a lot with teams when they play the Pats. (I say Other teams because the Fins played the Pats well vs their passing game) It would be better to play man to man coverage vs the Pats then to have wide open WR's making catches down the field. Another observation: Coaches have DB's not even touch Gronk within 5 yrds. He runs free on all of his pass patterns. When the Pats play a top TE they use bump and run coverage. When the game was on the line at Atlanta, the Pats had two players hit Gonzalez at the line of the scrimmage. Teams make it too easy for the Pats.

Polomalu missed some players with his coverage in the 1st half. In the 2nd half he caused a big fumble. The Pitt offense tied the game 24-24.
