Funny - I was watching the Raiders - Titans game and the new kicker for the Raiders made some pretty clutch field goals. They'd always cut to Seabass on the side lines and I was thinking -- there's gotta be a small part of him (even though I think he just signed a new extension) that is not pleased when this new guy makes these kicks.

Beckham strikes me as similar. He wants his team to win, but I bet when other receivers make big catches he's a little bummed. And he's probably a little happy when the offense sputters while he's out.

100%, thats the impression I get, I think he loves that all everyone is talking about today is how the Giants cant win without him.....Cole Beasley made a great catch, and at the time it was a pretty big 3rd down catch, they flash to Beckham on the sidelines, and he was smiling as if he approved.......Meanwhile it was a back breaker for the Giants

On a similar note, every time a guy gets injured in preseason, I always think how happy that guy is that was on the roster bubble, as he walks around acting like its so sad

I stated the defense is awesome, they just held one of the best offenses in the NFL to one TD in their home opener, while being on the field the entire game

And when I make my comments on the potential of the offense, I kinda include the best WR in the game actually playing, sorry I didnt factor in his absence to my assessment, Ill remember that for next year
