Not saying they aren't deservedly the #1 seed but after their coast into the end of the season and seeing a couple of playoff teams play well, the Broncos have a lot to show today.

Needless to say, I'll be rooting Chargers ~

they are 3-1 against playoff teams this year (including yesterday). not bad. :noidea:

They lost to Cincinnati and Carolina and are in the AFC CG after a virtual cakewalk. I'd :fap: to see the Chargers roll into Foxboro and stomp 'em.

Why because you're scared of Peyton Manning or because the Patriots don't need the embarrassment of having to play in front of another home "crowd?"

Can't Touch This!

...it's Hammertime where or esteemed Pats hater grasps at any straw he can reach. I don't think there was anything to confuse about what I stated.

but they havent exactly fallen off the map have they? they been to two more sb's since then and now three straight afc championships. you would think a dynasty that died would not be so close to adding to it. yea they havent won the sb and thats the ultimate goal, but you can say the dynaty is dead when they are still knocking on the door for more. if they get another sb it will just add to what they accomplished already, so the dynasty is still attacking. its rediculous to say only championships validate it, getting to the very top also adds to it.

No, a dynasty implies championships. You can come up with another word to describe their success, but it ain't dynasty.

If winning the AFC title but losing the SB is something to brag about....

(wait for it)

Then the Pats are second to the Bills who won 4 in a row.

They lost SB's to the Giants, Redskins, and Cowboys x2 in the 90's.

First, you can't make up your own definition of dynasty. Based on a definition of not winning a championship every year means no dynasty, then the NFL has never had a dynasty, neither has hockey. The only teams to qualify would be the Yankees and the Celtics.

A dynasty in the NFL would have to any team that has won more than 2 Superbowls withion a 5-7 year period and/or has consistently played for the Championship more than 3 or 4 times in the same period.

To set the record straight, The New England Patriots finished with 10 wins or more for the 11th straight year. The New England Patriots are playing in the post season for the 11th time in the last
13 years. The Patriots won their 10th division titole in the last 12 years. That's dominance and that's a dynasty.......they may not have won the Super Bowl since 2004 but they have been in the game twice since 2004. Other than the NY Giants, who else has played in the Superbowl twice than the Pats and Giants since 2004.

Here's a fact.....the New England Patriots in 2013-14 are the second youngest team in the NFL, only the Packers are younger. The Patriots are playing in the AFC Championship for the 8th time since 2001. The Patriots have 9 starters on the IR and have 7 rookies playing weekly. They're playing with second stringers and fill-ins and they're still kicking ass every week. They get everyone back next season and all of their rookies have playoff experience. 19-0 Next year........
