PFF predicts 5th for what that's worth. I'd take him in the 5th. 4.3 speed. If nothing else he stretches the field. Never know maybe he develops into something special with Drake.
Patriots don't have a fifth.

I'd love to sit dow to a drink with you and give you shit!
I'm a six hour drive south of you. 391 miles. I might take you up on it.

Just so you know, I stopped drinking alcohol 12/31/69. I do love the smell of Buffalo Trace.

PM me when you do. If you take 95S I'm 5 miles of Exit 284. My guess is that you'll be more likely to go south through Alabama and not be taking a coastal route.

Not a fan, we addressed Edge in FA seems a waste not to fill the LT position here. And Trapilo may be the feel good story not sure he will be an NFL LT
I had mentioned this the other day not in so many words, the experts are all over the place on the evaluations of these potential LTs. I'm certainly no expert on evaluating linemen. But I wonder how much of a difference is there between the top Ts? Does it equate to say Trapilo giving up a couple more pressures and one sack a game over say Campbell. If that's the difference would it be worth possibly getting the next great DE on a rookie contract?

This is the ultimate question and one I often ponder.

I use this site as well especially to see where players are projected to go.

But, to me it's not hard #s. Without being smart and saying 1%, what's the difference between a 98 and a 97 grade? Sure you can look at the pros and cons. Look at college film. But without everything being equal is that really the best method? I don't expect an answer because there probably isn't one. Does that equate to giving up a couple more pressures and one sack per game?

If so, I think I'd be willing to roll the dice and sign a potential franchise DE. The NE would be scary good.

Considering what's available in the draft, I think they should trade out of #4 and pick up one or two extra picks.

Rather than settling for Campbell, take Cornely or Ersery because both are LTs a point or so beneath the Campbell so called score. Grab Banks if he's there. Hopefully, they'll spend year one learning the NFL trade from someone Like Tyron Smith.

I fall back on Scar's comment, at #4 they should be looking to draft someone who can score or sack, not block.

That's what I'm saying. I think there are very serviceable LTs, you don't have to settle for Cambell or Banks. Could take Carter at 4 if you can't find a trade partner. Take a Jeanty or Warren and still get a good to decent LT.

100%.
Trade back a few spots. Jeanty, Warren or even Loveland. And Membou.

The longer FA is going, one does have to wonder why no one has signed Robinson or Smith. I know that Smith is 36 years old and has missed a couple games every season for the past few. But i heard something on the insiders that I didn't know. Robinson had a bad ankle sprain about the fourteenth week last year and no matter what they did to treat and sedate it, nothing worked and he could not move quick backing up or pivot to his left. That and they did say that he had a questionable work ethic. So i wonder, why not see if he'll take a one year deal and tell him that it's test year to see how he trains and performs. Have a team option for two more years if he's better than advertised. Draft a LT to be ready if he's hurt or turns out to be a slug.

I read about the work ethic, but not the ankle.

But yeah, incentives.
Even graduated. Year 1 heavily incentivized, year two more guarantees if he proves himself and isn't cut.
