I wish he'd stop, but look at what it's brought him. If he wasn't so out there with his comments would he have the same endorsement deals he inked over the last year? Would he still be on the cover Madden? All of those big interviews?

It's all about that money to him.

Peterson can claim to be the highest paid corner in the league in terms of league money, but Sherman likely makes more now if you include what his mouth has brought him in endorsements. If it doesn't pass him, it likely will soon as Sherman keeps adding more and more to his portfolio.

Richard Sherman Signs Equity And Endorsement Agreement With Sports Drink - Forbes

As long as advertisers keep rewarding his antics with these deals and the media keeps giving him more of the limelight, there is zero chance he slows any of it down.

Like it or not, he isn't going to change any time soon.

Peterson is a pretty quiet guy for the most part. Certainly not a social media whore. Is he the best corner in the league? I would say no as of today. I give the nod to Sherman. The fact of the matter is, if you have a top 3 corner, you lock him up. Whatever it takes.

THe old regime goes back to the Chicago Cardinals. It's in the top 5 of worst run franchises in Sports History considering they've been around since the 1930's. The Bidwill's suck balls and unless you find another HOF QB under a rock, the Arizona Cardinals will continue being a trash organization.

Since you didn't even know the Saints had a top 5 defense last year, there's no way you knew about the deplorable franchise known as the football Cardinals going back to the 30's.

A living in the past Raider fan talking about a horribly run franchise..... Brilliant!

-1 = The truth hurts but shall set me football free. The Cardinals are in the top 5 worst run franchises in the HISTORY of sports. Just tellin' it like it is, boss!

Raiders keep the Cardinals from ever being #1

Yes.... my Lions will keep the Cards from being #2 also:L

what do you call 1999-2001 ? a top 3 team in the NFL. Between you and Scooby dumb, the cardinals aren't well represented with any intelligence on here. :yahoo:

I'm not going to the 3 rings because it's annoying they're in the 70s and 80's but we still have been to a SB and a couple of AFCCG's since we won our last SB.

Cardinals had 1 lucky SB appearance with a HOF QB brought in to backup Matt Leinart. Otherwise, go back to the 1930's = deplorable. The truth shall set you free.

I could retaliate back with some witty personal insults, but I wont.

Listen, I don't blame you for your bitterness/rudeness or whatever you want to call it. I get it, stealing Valdheer must still hurt. Not to mention all you have to look forward to is a 6-10 season.

But this living in the past stuff has to stop. It is old, overused and irrelevant. The Raiders last SB/AFC Championship or Playoff appearance is about as signifcant as the Cardinals NFL Championship in 1947. Nobody cares.

But hey, good luck THIS YEAR and in the future. The San Antonio Raiders has a nice ring to it. :thumb:

I already apologized showing humility and class.

However, you keep piling on showing.....

You going to be a man or just continue the trash? Hopefully, a man.

I apologized nicely.

I asked you nicely if you want to talk or make Raider comments, go to the San Antonio Raider thread.

You've done neither and fans act like I hijack threads? hello, it's the comments made in the threads.

Time for you to be a man.

Back to topic...

Great extension by Cards.

As a Lions fan, the debate of who is better??? I damn sure would have open arms for PP or Sherm. Both studs and the talent separation is splitting hairs.

Not so sure about that. But since you claim you were being sincere, I will move on.

yeah but at least theres film from the 70s and 80s.

16mm B&W home movies of various Cardinals and Bears games in 1929. Includes the Green Bay Lumberjack Band (although the film is silent). Games played in Comiskey Park and Wrigley Field (old configuration).

Could this be breaker, posing as a Raider fan? I know it was only a matter of time before the warning came.
No. I believe Nick is a new poster that simply got a little carried away. Let's give him a chance to move on and be more.

Nick, it's kind of common for people to post to quotes as they read them in order. I'm betting Scooby didn't get all the way to your apology before he replied.

In any event guys, let's just bury the drama and move on from here. Maybe it's time for everyone to back down from the name calling and vitriolic posting for a bit.

Nice to see another team keep their best players on defense. The Lions don't do that. :-(

You all still stole our best WR so that's something. :noidea:

Really odd how every team in the NFCW ended up with solid defenses, but every team out there is trying to find that kind of success on that side of the ball.
