The Q stache
Cabbie Slayer
The Hawks are looking into making him a center. Anyone else think this a really risky/dumb move.
you are very strong at center (Towes, Sharp, Bolland, Frolik)
and very weak on wing (Hossa, Kane, and what.. Brunette?)
seems like an odd move for sure.
caveat: I learn rosters of other teams from ESPN's webpageSharp and Frolik are really wingers who play center when needed. True centermeen on the hawks are Toews, bolland, and kruger and they don't know what to expect of him. I still think its a mistake to move Kane though.
Imo, he sometimes gets knocked off the puck a little too easy late in games. Might wear him out with a little more ice to cover, taking draws, and the added defensive responsibility. Kid could add about 15 pounds too. Who knows, maybe he hit the weights hard this summer.

you mean besides the 16 oz curls?
Well, if people would quit scamming the poor guy for 20 cents at a time, he could afford a couple 40 oz's to lift.
Approved.
I don't like the idea. Kane's doing well at wing and I would think that the Hawks should just shop for a bigger faceoff specialist.
yea they acutally have cap room for once and a decent enough stable of prospects.
Of course, I'm on board with anything that makes Kane unhappy and could cause some tension with the Hawks. Thus, put him at center.
I guess he is still a star player in this league, maybe the switch will help him mature a little faster?
Mature into what?
A better all around player. That's the main reason Johnny gets all the glory.
